Ready for the iphone 5?

Ah yes, its that time again as the release date for a new iphone approaches. Will it be worth the hours-long line? As usual, everyone will have a different answer but we know that the Apple fanboys will no doubt be up early for this one. As for the rest of us? Well, I myself personally enjoy my beauty rest so I will probably pass. But just in case you can’t wait to get your hands on one, here’s a run down of what we know about iphone 5 so far.

  • First off, Apple’s scheduled release dates for iPhone 5 is October 15th.
  • Only a rumor at this point, but there have been talks of Apple getting rid of physical SIM cards to replace with their own proprietary technology. To us this sounds like a nightmare, but of course it’s only a rumor at this point.
  • AT&T and Verizon haters rejoice! (is there anyone that actually fits that description?) These two corporate behemoths won’t be the only ones with access to the new iPhone as rumor has it Sprint is also scheduled to carry the hardware. In addition to that, there is talk that Sprint will roll out an unlimited data plan as well. This seems pretty certain at this point since Sprint has been giving employees the run down about the iphone release, and an unlimited data plan would really help shake things up in the smart phone world.
