It is essential to be prepared at all times. For many centuries now disaster just keeps on happening. A lot of people died because of disaster, be it in the form of nature or manmade. As a survivor, it takes a lot of planning and preparation. Although you least expect the disaster from happening it is but wiser to be prepared at all times. Earthquakes, storms, and tornadoes are among the disasters that will not only cause property damage. It will also cause human death. Preparing for a huge disaster can help lessen the damage brought about by calamities.

Disaster and accidents keep on happening. Nobody can resist it no matter how cautious it can be. Being prepared in such events make sense. Survivalist prepare for such things. For example, if you are living in a place always hit by a storm it would be helpful to build storm shelter. You will not avoid calamities to happen but at least you have a safe shelter. Such accidents and disasters are reality of life. They are designed by nature. We cannot avoid such things from happening but at least we can do something to ease or lighten their effects. It is just a matter of preparation.
